Sorbets

The sorbet distributed by Dian s.n.c. of Pergine Valsugana

The lemon sorbet is packed in 1 lt plastic bottles and it is alcohol-free and packed in boxes with 8 bottles. The sorbet is a fresh creamy dessert, obtained by a mix of water, sugar, whipped fruit, but it can also be flavored with liqueurs or juices. Its existence is recorded in ancient texts. In Rome, for instance, the emperor Nerone made the ice come from the Appennino to obtain a refreshing dessert. The etymology is unsure and it could be of a Latin or Arab origin (“sherbet”).
